Nighthorse is on the lookout for an Event Manager with a flair for diverse entertainment experiences. This role is pivotal in orchestrating a variety of events, including live music, comedy shows, DJ sets, and special acts. Event Manager Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage a range of events including live music, comedy nights, DJ sets, and special performances
Book, schedule, and liaise with artists, bands, comedians, DJs, and performers
Oversee sound, lighting, and AV setups, ensuring each event meets our high-quality standards
Engage in photography and content creation for event promotion and archiving
Develop marketing strategies and digital content to enhance event visibility and engagement
Negotiate contracts and manage budgets for entertainment, technical needs, and marketing materials
Address and troubleshoot any issues that arise during events efficiently
Assess event success and gather feedback for continuous improvement
Stay abreast of industry trends in entertainment, event technology, and digital marketing
The ideal candidate has
At least 3 years of experience in event management, with a focus on live entertainment and DJ events
Skilled in sound systems, lighting, and technical event production
Experience in photography, content creation, and digital marketing
Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
Ability to multitask and manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
