OVERVIEW

We’re seeking a Bar Manager to join our growing team. The Bar Manager is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the bar, staff, stock, and equipment ordering, on a daily basis. Responsibilities 

  • Oversee team members and delegate duties to be accomplished during that shift

  • Assist in developing and managing team member schedules

  • Ensure the bar runs smoothly on a daily basis and is stocked with all necessary goods

  • Ensure bar and bar area will always be left cleaned and organized by all bar staff after shifts and at the end of each day

  • Verify all stocking, side work, prep work, and training is done for smooth service

  • Develop a high-end cocktail program using local and seasonal ingredients whenever possible

  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to any customer complaints

  • Comply with federal, state, local, and all legislative and licensing requirements

The ideal candidate has

  • Minimum 4 years in a related role with at least 2 years as a people manager 

  • TIPS alcohol certification

  • Food handling certification  

  • Extensive bar & cocktail knowledge

  • Strong leadership & communication skills

  • Strong leadership ability and financial acumen

  • The ability to manage under pressure and make decisions in real time

  • The experience to operate at a high level under the direction of the management team

  • The capability to meet the physical and scheduling demands of the position, including walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods, and working nights, weekends, and holidays
