OVERVIEW

We’re hiring Bar Security to join our growing team. As Bar Security, you’ll check IDs at the door, conflict resolution, and de-escalate tense situations.  To apply, submit a resume to jobs@nighthorsebk.com.

Responsibilities 

  • Provide safety & security to all of our guests

  • Check IDs at the door; Maintain a welcoming presence

  • Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules

  • Thoroughly examine doors and windows to ensure proper function and security

  • Warn violators of premise rules and regulations

  • Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations

  • Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts

  • Empty trash as needed

  • Work well as part of a team

  • Maintain a calm attitude when in a stressful, chaotic environment

The ideal candidate has

  • Minimum 2 years in a related role 

  • Experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields

  • Valid NY Security License

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • The ability to work under pressure and make decisions in real time

  • The experience to operate at a high level under the direction of the management team

  • The capability to meet the physical and scheduling demands of the position, including walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods, and working nights, weekends, and holidays
